Kansas City's Beck, Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Saturday, October 14th , 2023 The Kansas City Stars have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Tristan Beck, this year's International League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Beck compiled a 11-7 record in 28 starts, tallied 129 strikeouts in 188 innings and recorded a 3.45 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .269 batting average against him. He received 16 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Shintaro Fujinami of the Kansas City Stars finished second in voting, while Erasmo Ramirez of the Niagara Falls Rapids finished third.
