Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Molina
Monday, October 9th , 2023
Derek Molina said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 26 years old.

But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Brooklyn Cyclones rising star has won the New York-Penn Reliever of the Year Award for 2023.

He captured the award on the strength of his 1.33 ERA over 47.1 innings. He also had 1 save in 27 relief appearances, 51 strikeouts and only 15 walks.

He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 12. Derek Craft of the Hoboken Warriors finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Gabriel Ponce of the Beaver Valley Thunder Cats finished third.
