The Tampa Bay Bandits defeated the Texas Vipers, 8-3, at Pepsi Dome. Leading the charge for Tampa Bay was first baseman Matt Olson. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Tampa Bay is now 31-20. Texas is 23-28.

With one out in the top of the seventh, Josh Jung had a game-changing hit. The Bandits third baseman slammed a run-scoring single off Tayler Scott, making the score 5-3, Tampa Bay.
