New York Beaten, 2-0, by Minnesota
|
The Minnesota Millers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Justin Steele, who muffled the New York offense en route to a tight, 2-0 Millers win at Target Field. The win went to Andres Munoz in relief, making him now 3-2. Luke Little took the loss for New York. Minnesota has 3 straight wins, New York 4 straight losses.
Minnesota took a 1-0 lead on Mike Zunino's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Zunino hit in the bottom of the eighth, left New York pitcher Luke Little visibly frustrated.
"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said New York manager Nick Ruport.
