Led by Jonah Heim, the Boston Minutemen defeated the Montreal PoorBoys, 8-3. Heim, a native of New York, went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Minutemen. Hunter Brown picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-3. He struck out 9 in 5.1 innings. Boston raised its record to 27-25 with the win.

With Boston leading 4-2 in the top of the fifth, Heim hit a fastball from Jack Flaherty for a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Minutemen ahead, 6-2.
