Millers Win, Now 27-27

Bailey Ober pitched well, but his team, the New York Sharks, still dropped a 3-1 decision to the Minnesota Millers at Target Field. Clay Holmes picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-2. He struck out 2 in 5.1 innings. Picking up the save was fireballing right-hander Jhoan Duran.
The Millers got a big at-bat from right fielder Josh Lowe. For the game, Lowe went 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Minnesota a 2-1 lead.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said New York skipper Nick Ruport, "and it cost us."
With the win, Minnesota pushed its record to 27-27.
