Raley Slugs Wildcats to 9-1 Win
|
Baltimore right fielder Luke Raley played a vital role in his team's 9-1 conquest of Bronx. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for Baltimore. Baltimore is now 26-28, Bronx 24-30.
Baltimore catcher James McCann contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the first. With two down, he hit a slider to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 21st hit of the season and put the Wildcats ahead, 5-0.
"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Wildcats manager Joe Bubanj.
