San Francisco Downed, 7-3, by Titans
|
The Houston Titans weathered an outstanding game by San Francisco second baseman Jazz Chisholm to topple the Dragons, 7-3. Chisholm went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. Houston reliever Josh Sborz picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Mason Miller took the loss. With the win, Houston raised its record to 38-19.
Weston Wilson came through with a big-time hit for Houston. The second baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
In postgame remarks, Wilson simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
