With designated hitter Yordan Alvarez leading the charge, the Tampa Bay Bandits defeated the Anaheim Diamonds, 8-4, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Alvarez, who finished 2nd in the UL in RBI with 125 last year, was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. With the victory, the Bandits upped their record to 35-24.

J.T. Realmuto, who is tied for 7th in the FL in triples with 3, helped out the Tampa Bay cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the catcher was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Realmuto.
