Degrom Deals Washington 3-1 Setback
|
The Tampa Bay Bandits beat the Washington Hitmen, 3-1, at RFK Stadium. Starting pitcher Jacob Degrom was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The win lifted the Tampa Bay record to 37-24.
The Hitmen had trouble solving Degrom, who surrendered 1 run on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Degrom after the game.
