The Anaheim Diamonds got a strong performance from pitcher Tyler Mahle, who stymied the Detroit offense en route to a win, 2-0, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Anaheim has now won 3 in a row.

The Diamonds got a big at-bat from first baseman Brandon Lowe. For the game, Lowe was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 19th home run of the season gave Anaheim a 2-0 lead.

"Awesome outing. Tyler was on top of them all night long," said Anaheim manager Michael Kirk.
