Bandits CF Taveras goes 3-for-3 in Win
Tampa Bay center fielder Leody Taveras helped his team beat the Portland Jaguars, 13-4. Taveras, who is tied for 7th in the FL in stolen bases with 20, went 3 for 3 for the Bandits. The Bandits have an impressive 42-25 record.

The Jaguars had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Bandits going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the two-time CBA Gold Glove Award winner Ozzie Albies came to the plate. Albies hit a 3-run home run on a 2-1 cutter from Portland hurler Erick Fedde. It was Albies's 14th home run of the year.

"Their at-bats were really impressive against us," said losing manager Darren Meserve.
