San Francisco Dealt 4-1 Defeat
|
Boston Minutemen starter Hunter Brown turned in a top-notch performance against the San Francisco Dragons at Fenway Park. The result was a win for the Minutemen, 4-1. The winning pitcher was Brown, now 7-3. He tossed 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. Drew Rasmussen notched his 13th save in 19 chances.
The Minutemen got a big at-bat from first baseman Kris Bryant. For the game, Bryant was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Boston a 2-0 lead.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Brown.
