Tampa Bay Pockets 6-2 Win Over Pittsburgh
The rain came, as predicted, but the Tampa Bay Bandits and Pittsburgh Ironmen were able to complete their ballgame.

The Tampa Bay Bandits defeated the Pittsburgh Ironmen, 6-2, in Federal League action at PNC Park. Tampa Bay pitcher Jacob Degrom had a standout performance. The winner was Degrom. He threw 5.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Hunter Greene.

Matt Olson, who finished 5th in the FL in OPS with .896 in 2021, helped out the Tampa Bay cause in the top of the first inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the first baseman drew 1 walk.

"We took home the win," said Olson. "What's not to like?"

The win puts Tampa Bay at 43-28 this season.
