Manaea Leads Cincinnati Past Minnesota
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Minnesota Millers and Cincinnati Stars get after it.
Cincinnati turned a good effort from starter Sean Manaea into a win over the Minnesota Millers at Great American Ball Park. The Stars won the game, 6-1. Cincinnati is now 33-43, Minnesota 40-36.
Manaea allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 8 innings for the Stars. With the win, he is 7-6 with an ERA of 3.87.
"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said Cincinnati skipper Pat Padula.
