Millers Slap 7-5 Loss on Cincinnati
|
The Minnesota Millers downed the Cincinnati Stars, 7-5, at Great American Ball Park. Michael Conforto led the way, going 2-for-4 for Minnesota. Minnesota is now 42-36, Cincinnati 33-45.
Minnesota used a clutch at-bat from Seiya Suzuki to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Millers ahead, 6-4. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Suzuki said.
