Ironmen Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Jaguars, 7-4
The Pittsburgh Ironmen beat the Portland Jaguars, 7-4, at Chrysler Canyon. The Ironmen got a fine performance from center fielder Vidal Brujan, who was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Pittsburgh is 44-38 and Portland, with the loss, 37-45.

Brujan had a game-changing double in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch slider from Jordan Romano, he banged a bases-clearing double to right-center, giving the Ironmen a 5-4 lead. It was the 14th double of the year for Brujan.

In postgame comments to the Pittsburgh News, Brujan said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
