Tampa Bay catcher J.T. Realmuto helped his team beat the Cincinnati Stars, 6-5. Realmuto, who is tied for 8th in the FL in triples with 4, went 4 for 4 for the Bandits. Shane McClanahan, who led the FL in wins with 20 in 2023, was the winner. He's now 8-6. The loser was Tyler Ferguson. Matt Strahm got the save, his 12th in 13 chances.

The Bandits got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Brendan Donovan. For the game, Donovan was 1 for 2 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Tampa Bay a 5-3 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Donovan. "And not try to do too much."

Tampa Bay raised its record to 52-34 with the win.
