Morel Clouts 2 Homers in 11-6 St Louis Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Texas Vipers and St Louis Sluggers get after it.

The St Louis Sluggers grabbed a win, 11-6, over the Texas Vipers at Busch Stadium. St Louis third baseman Christopher Morel belted 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Jameson Taillon got the win, improving to 6-6. He held the Vipers to 1 run on 5 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 0.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Morel hit a 3-run home run off Nestor Cortes. It propelled the Sluggers into the lead, 4-1.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Morel.

St Louis improves to 48-39 with the win. They lead their division by 2 games.
