Jaguars Get Hard-Earned Win
The Portland Jaguars dealt the Baltimore Wildcats a 6-5 loss in 10 innings at Chrysler Canyon. Brandon Nimmo was the star on offense. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Greg Weissert, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The Jaguars improved their record to 41-50 with the win over Baltimore.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jett Williams in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Camilo Doval to win the game for Portland. The home crowd went nuts.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Williams.
