Hitmen Slap 6-2 Loss on Anaheim
|
Washington Hitmen starter Simeon Woods Richardson kept the Anaheim Diamonds hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Washington goes to 44-51, Anaheim to 39-56.
The Hitmen got a big at-bat from first baseman Keston Hiura. For the game, Hiura was 1-2 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 10th double of the season gave Washington a 3-2 lead.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Woods Richardson.
