McClanahan Now 10-3 After Subduing Dragons
|
Tampa Bay registered a win at Pac Bell Park by beating the San Francisco Dragons, 5-1. Pitcher Shane McClanahan was one reason why the Bandits triumphed. Tampa Bay is now 65-31, 14 games up in the Federal Eastern Division.
McClanahan, a native of Cape Coral, Florida, was dealing all game. He kept San Francisco hitters off-balance, while giving the Bandits 8 quality innings. McClanahan threw 97 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 6.
"Shane showed what he's made of," said Tampa Bay manager George Hoffman.
