Stars Deal Explorers 6-4 Loss
|
Cincinnati starter Tylor Megill pitched well against the Chicago Explorers at Great American Ball Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-4, in 12 innings. Reed Garrett snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 2 innings. He's now 4-2 on the season. Cincinnati has now won 4 straight, while the Explorers have lost 3 in a row.
Cincinnati got a knockout punch from Pete Crow-Armstrong. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"This house was rockin'," Megill said.
