Tyler Mahle pitched well, but his team, the Anaheim Diamonds, still dropped a 4-1 decision to the Boston Minutemen at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. With the win, Boston has a record of 53-47. Anaheim falls to 40-60.

Boston used the timely hitting of Trevor Larnach to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Minutemen on top, 4-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We did a lot of things right," said Larnach.
