Sluggers Win at Home, 6-3

St Louis and Washington duked it out and the Sluggers came out victorious.
St Louis first baseman Triston Casas helped his team beat the Washington Hitmen, 6-3. Casas, who is tied for 2nd in the FL in bases on balls with 47, went 2 for 4 for the Sluggers. Scott Barlow, credited with the save, is now 2 for 5 in save opportunities.
Christopher Morel helped out the St Louis cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3 with a hit by pitch.
"There's still time to turn this season around," said Morel.
St Louis, now 48-52, holds down 4th place in the Federal Central Division.
