The Boston Minutemen topped the Pittsburgh Ironmen, 7-4, in Federal action at Fenway Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher Kyle Bradish. Bradish picked up the win for Boston, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 2-9. Raisel Iglesias earned his 20th save in 23 chances.

D.J. LeMahieu had a big 2-run double for the Minutemen in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Boston leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Matt Boyd, who finished 2nd in the UL in wins with 17 in 2020, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 15th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Minutemen ahead, 4-0.

"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said LeMahieu. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."

With the win, Boston pushed its record to 54-48.
