Tampa Bay and Carolina took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

Tampa Bay pitcher Pablo Lopez did his part in helping his team beat the Carolina Riptides, 3-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Tampa Bay pitcher Matt Strahm got the win. He's now 2-1. Tarik Skubal was tagged with the loss.

Tampa Bay took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Matt Olson hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Bandits.

"I like our moxie," said Bandits manager George Hoffman.

Tampa Bay now has a record of 69-33 with the win.
