Wildcats Rally Late to Clip Los Angeles
There was never a dull moment in an extra-length game between the Baltimore Wildcats and the Los Angeles Spirit.

The Baltimore Wildcats had to overcome a good performance from Los Angeles pitcher Caleb Boushley to claim a 3-2 win at Nike Field. Boushley went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Paul Sewald earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record is now 2-10.

Baltimore used the timely hitting of Michael Siani to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Wildcats on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"That's baseball," said Los Angeles manager Bobby Kirkpatrick. "Sometimes the other team plays better than yours."

The Wildcats improved their record to 46-60 by beating Los Angeles.
