Montreal PoorBoys starter Alec Marsh had all his pitches working at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-0 Montreal win over the Anaheim Diamonds. Marsh, the winner, moves to 5-6. He threw 5 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks. Liam Hendriks got the save, his 1st in 3 chances.

Early in the game, right fielder Kyle Tucker had a run-scoring double for Montreal. It was his 15th double of the season and put the PoorBoys on top, 1-0.
