Carolina Gets 3-2 Road Win
Carolina right fielder Juan Soto contributed significantly to his team's 3-2 win over the San Francisco Dragons. Soto, who led the UL in on-base percentage with .451 in 2022, went 1 for 2 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Riptides. Carolina now has a record of 58-54 with the win.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Ezequiel Tovar? The 24-year old third baseman Tovar stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Carolina up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Tovar.
