Baltimore Coasts to 11-2 Win
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Carolina Riptides and Baltimore Wildcats get after it.
JJ Bleday helped his team muscle past the Carolina Riptides, 11-2. In the game, the Baltimore left fielder went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. After today's action, Baltimore sits at 53-68; Carolina slips to 61-60.
With the game tied, 2-2, in the bottom of the fifth, Bleday had a key at-bat for Baltimore. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Bleday hit a run-scoring single off Tony Santillan, making the score 3-2, Wildcats.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Bleday.
