Olson Excels, Tampa Bay Blows Out Houston
Tampa Bay first baseman Matt Olson contributed significantly to his team's 13-3 win over the Houston Titans. Olson, who finished 5th in the FL in on-base percentage with .364 last year, went 4 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bandits. Tampa Bay improves to 76-47 with the win. They lead their division by 15½ games.

Yordan Alvarez had a big 2-run home run for the Bandits in the bottom of the third inning. With Tampa Bay leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 30-year old right-handed pitcher J.P. France and punished it. The result was his 35th home run of the season, which put the Bandits on top, 4-0.

"Bad day," Houston manager Stephen Strzepek said. "New day tomorrow."
