Eovaldi Deals Anaheim 4-0 Setback
|
The Oakland Roses picked up a win at Fan's Ballyard, topping the Anaheim Diamonds, 4-0. On the mound for Oakland was right-hander Nathan Eovaldi. He played a principal role in the triumph. Anaheim's current losing streak is now 5 games.
Eovaldi delivered a quality start for Oakland. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 5 hits over 8.1 innings of work.
"Nathan pitched his heart out," said Oakland manager Herb Pilgrim.
