Bulldogs Stumble, Lose to Riptides
|
Dylan Cease pitched a dandy of a game to help the Carolina Riptides beat the Georgia Bulldogs, 8-0. Cease, now 7-10, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing no runs. Georgia's current losing streak has reached 5 games.
The Riptides picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Cease. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
