The Texas Vipers banked on Reese Olson and he turned in a masterful performance. The right-hander kept the San Francisco hitters in check. The final score was 2-0, Vipers. Texas is now 58-73. San Francisco is 79-52.

Texas used the timely hitting of Brent Rooker to capture the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Vipers on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.

"Our pitching was the difference tonight," Rooker said.
