Detroit Loses, 6-3, to Boston in 10
|
Getting a good performance from left fielder Randy Arozarena, the Boston Minutemen defeated the Detroit Demons, 6-3. Arozarena was 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Minutemen. Boston reliever Raisel Iglesias picked up the win, raising his record to 6-4. J.P. Feyereisen was tagged with the loss. The win for the Minutemen raised their record to 69-62.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Arozarena hit a fastball from J.P. Feyereisen for a 3-run home run. The Minutemen, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
In postgame remarks, Arozarena simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
