The first-place St Louis Sluggers picked up another win.

St Louis right fielder Richie Palacios had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Anaheim Diamonds, 9-2. Tyson Miller, now 5-6, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings.

Palacios had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Sluggers went on to win.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said St Louis skipper John Hawkins.

The Sluggers lead the Federal League Central Division by 3 games.
