Gorman Slugs Diamonds to 8-5 Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Texas Vipers and Anaheim Diamonds get after it.

Nolan Gorman impressed in the 8-5 Anaheim win over Texas. Gorman, who is tied for 9th in the UL in RBI with 91, belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Bryan Abreu got the save, his 24th in 29 chances.

With Anaheim leading 4-3 in the bottom of the third, Gorman hit a sinker from Jose Berrios for a 2-run home run. It was his 36th home run of the season and put the Diamonds ahead, 6-3.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Anaheim manager Michael Kirk.

Anaheim is now 66-68.
