Pac Bell Park was the site of the home opener for the San Francisco Dragons. The contest featured a prime matchup between Nick Lodolo of the visiting Toronto Hogs and McCade Brown of the Dragons. The final score was 8-2, the Hogs getting the win. Nick Lodolo turned in the best performance. Lodolo got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. Toronto relied on the hitting of Elly De La Cruz to pick up the win. The shortstop ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Hogs on top, 2-1. For the game, De La Cruz had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
