Phalanx Earn Win with Late Rally

The Philadelphia Phalanx had to weather a strong performance from Carolina pitcher Dylan Cease before claiming a 3-2 win in 11 innings. Cease went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Philadelphia reliever Carmen Mlodzinski picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Brooks Raley absorbed the loss. Carolina now is 1-1.
Philadelphia got a knockout punch from Munetaka Murakami. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Murakami.
