The home crowd had a good time watching the Detroit Demons and Bronx Bombers get after it.

A 5-RBI performance from Gavin Lux helped the Bronx Bombers beat the Detroit Demons, 14-6. Jack Leiter got the win, improving to 1-0. He worked 5 innings, giving up no runs on 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1.

With Bronx leading 9-6 in the bottom of the sixth, Lux hit a fastball from Emerson Hancock for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Bombers ahead, 12-6.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Lux told the Bronx Observer.

After losing, Detroit is 2-3.
