Minutemen Win at Seattle, 4-2

The 2026 season did not get off to quite the start the Seattle Sting had hoped, with an opening day loss to the Boston Minutemen at Boeing Field. The final score was 4-2. Starting Pitcher Joe Ryan was the top performer for Boston.
Alek Thomas hit a run-scoring triple off Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the top of the second, which put the Minutemen in front, 1-0. Thomas had 2 walks, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 2.
