4-2 Loss Extends Cincinnati Losing Streak
The Cincinnati Stars got a superb performance from pitcher Max Scherzer, but the Tampa Bay Bandits still won the game, 4-2. Scherzer threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. The Bandits raised their record to 5-1.

Tampa Bay took a 4-2 lead on Masyn Winn's 2nd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Winn hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Cincinnati pitcher Giovanny Gallegos visibly frustrated.

"We take it day by day here," said Winn, "and today was a good one for us."
