Demons third baseman Eugenio Suarez put his stamp on his team's 4-2 win over the Carolina Riptides. Suarez went 2-4 with 2 home runs for Detroit in the contest. The save went to Josh Winckowski, his 1st this season. The loss drops the Riptides to 4-3.

Detroit took a 4-2 lead on Suarez's 5th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Dylan Cease in the top of the sixth, propelled Detroit to the win.

"We took home the win," said Suarez. "What's not to like?"
