The Tampa Bay Bandits and Phoenix Firebirds put on quite a show.

The Tampa Bay Bandits stopped the Phoenix Firebirds, 7-5, at Chase Field. The Bandits got a big game from Brendan Donovan, who went 3-5 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The save went to Kirby Yates, his 1st this season.

Donovan had a game-changing double in the top of the 11th. On a first pitch slider from Dietrich Enns, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Bandits a 7-5 lead. It was the 2nd double of the year for Donovan.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Donovan. "But we got it done."

Tampa Bay, with the win, is 7-0.
