Hogs 4-2 Winners Versus Anaheim
|
The Anaheim Diamonds were defeated, 4-2, by the Toronto Hogs at Sony Park, even though Tyler Mahle pitched well for Anaheim. Kenley Jansen was credited with the save for Toronto, his 2nd of the season. Anaheim now is 0-8.
Toronto took a 4-0 lead on Rafael Marchan's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Marchan hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Anaheim pitcher Jared Koenig visibly frustrated.
"You need to show up when your number's called," said Marchan.
