Stars Walk It Off for 7th Win of Season
The Cincinnati Stars powered past the St Louis Sluggers, 9-6, at Great American Ball Park. Mark Vientos was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4, to lead the charge. The win went to Keegan Akin in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Bennett Sousa took the loss. The Stars, now 7-1, have stormed out of the gates.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Vientos hit a fastball from Bennett Sousa for a 3-run home run. The Stars, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Vientos said.
