The Oakland Roses knocked off the San Diego Snakeyes, 4-3, in Union League action at Petco Park. Oakland pitcher and Elyria, Ohio, native Eric Lauer had an outstanding performance. Raisel Iglesias was credited with the save for Oakland, his 5th of the season. The win brings the Roses to 9-1, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Miguel Rojas had a direct impact on the outcome. Rojas contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Oakland up, 2-1.

"The wins are coming in bunches right now," said Lauer. "We'll enjoy it while it lasts."
