Senga Deals Texas 3-1 Setback
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Cincinnati Stars and the Texas Vipers. Cincinnati won it, 3-1. Cincinnati starter Kodai Senga was in command. Now 4-8, the Vipers have gotten off to a poor start.

Senga was effective against the Vipers, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Texas to just no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.

"Kodai was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Cincinnati manager Pat Padula.
