PoorBoys Rack Up 7-5 Win Versus Seattle
|
Montreal first baseman Christian Walker was a significant contributor in his team's 7-5 triumph over the Seattle Sting. He was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the PoorBoys. Robert Stephenson earned the save for Montreal. The Sting, now 4-8, continue their poor start.
Anthony Volpe, who finished 4th in the FL in stolen bases with 42 last year, helped out the Montreal cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman drove in one run.
"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Walker told the Montreal Times.
